My Approach to Helping

No matter what you are going through in life, there is support and someone who will listen and work with you. Help you alleviate your symptoms and find the root of the issue. Nonjudgmental, compassionate. and genuine.

I love working, connecting with, and helping people. Take the opportunity to work through the emotions attached to the scenes you see that keep coming up, and work on those emotions. You get to talk about what you want to, but you do not have to share the details to get through your therapy in order to let go of the feelings. I look forward to walking with you through your journey. Call today and lets get started.

You are important, special & loved, even when your mind tell you you’re not.

Services I Provide

  • Counseling for Offenders
  • Group Therapy
  • Individual Therapy & Counseling
  • Marriage, Couples, or Relationship Counseling
  • Telehealth

Services also known as modes or types of mental health care sessions can be given in a variety of formats, including:

  • Individual Therapy & Counseling: This therapy involves only the patient and the therapist. Sometimes called psychotherapy or talk therapy is a process through which a client works one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring and confidential environment.
  • Family Counseling: Because family is a key part of the team that helps people with mental illness get better, it is sometimes helpful for family members to understand what their loved one is going through, how they themselves can cope, and what they can do to help.
  • Telehealth: Also known as teletherapy, generally, refers to individual psychotherapy or talk therapy delivered through technology like video conferencing.

Types of Therapy

Psychotherapy, also referred to as talk therapy, psycho-social therapy, counseling, or, simply, therapy, is the primary method for treating mental health problems by talking with a mental health provider. The goal is the help an individual better understand their mental health and teach strategies and tools that manage unhealthy thoughts and behaviors.

While there are many approaches to psychotherapy, there is no single approach that works for everyone. A  therapist may use a blended approach, sampling techniques from several different types of psychotherapy. The kind of psychotherapy a person receives depends on the unique needs. Below are some of the types of psychotherapy Madeline utilizes.

  • Acceptance and
  • Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Existential Psychotherapy
