My name is Rachael Sinnes. I am a licensed master’s level social worker who is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and build lives that feel more balanced and meaningful. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating – and together, we can work to bring clarity and relief. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a humanistic perspective, meaning I believe people already have the capacity for growth, healing, and change. Therapy is a collaborative process where your experiences, values, and goals are honored.
I believe each person holds inherent worth and unconditional value – regardless of actions, achievements, status or external opinions. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions safely while building insight and confidence. I also emphasize self-compassion as a foundation for healing and resilience. Many individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, addiction, depression, or ADHD are especially hard on themselves. I help clients cultivate greater self-understanding and kindness, allowing space for progress without perfection and fostering healthier relationships with themselves and others.
I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to help clients develop practical tools for everyday life. These approaches can support you in managing anxious thoughts, regulating emotions, improving communication, and strengthening self-compassion. My style is both compassionate and structured — focused on helping you understand what’s happening internally while learning skills that lead to real change. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.
Outside of the office, I cherish the time I get to spend watching my kids grow and hanging out with my Blue Heeler, Buddy. My hobbies include growing more houseplants than any one person will ever need, embroidering, gardening, spending time in nature and playing puzzles or word games. I am always looking for ways to grow and learn new things about myself and what my personal impact is on the rest of the world. I look forward to meeting you.
I am in-network with many commercial insurance carriers. I can also provide a superbill for my out of network clients to help with reimbursement. Please reach out with any questions, we are happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable.
Life can sometimes become overwhelming, and even the healthiest coping strategies may no longer feel effective. A mental health crisis can occur when emotional distress, traumatic events, or ongoing mental health challenges make it difficult to cope with everyday life. During these times, you may feel overwhelmed, helpless, anxious, or as though you have lost control.
As an outpatient mental health provider, I offer crisis intervention services to help individuals navigate difficult situations, stabilize emotional distress, and develop healthy coping strategies. Together, we will identify immediate concerns, build resilience, and develop practical skills to manage future challenges while supporting your long-term emotional well-being.

Morgan Health Centers offers a variety of mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. We recognize that every person’s experiences, challenges, and goals are different, which is why treatment is personalized and tailored to your specific needs. Whether you are seeking support for a specific mental health concern, navigating a life transition, or working toward personal growth and emotional wellness, we are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Morgan Health Centers offers a variety of mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Depending on your treatment plan and clinical needs, services may be provided in one or more of the following formats:
Individual Therapy & Counseling
Individual therapy, also known as psychotherapy or talk therapy, is a confidential, one-on-one session between you and a licensed mental health professional. In a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment, you can explore personal concerns, develop healthy coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and work toward meaningful personal goals.
Marital & Couples Counseling
Couples counseling helps spouses and partners strengthen their relationship by improving communication, resolving conflicts, rebuilding trust, and navigating life transitions together. Therapy may also help partners better understand the impact of a mental health condition and develop effective ways to support one another.
Premarital Counseling
Premarital counseling helps couples prepare for a healthy, lasting marriage. Sessions focus on strengthening communication, discussing expectations, addressing potential areas of conflict, developing problem-solving skills, and establishing shared goals before marriage.
Relationship Counseling
Relationship counseling is designed to improve communication and resolve interpersonal challenges between two or more individuals. Services may include counseling for married couples, partners, family members, parents and children, siblings, in-laws, friends, coworkers, or others seeking healthier relationships.
Clinical Social Work
Clinical social work services provide counseling, care coordination, advocacy, and support for individuals facing mental health, emotional, behavioral, or substance use concerns. Services may assist individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, eating disorders, life transitions, and other challenges while helping connect patients with appropriate community resources and support systems.
Telehealth
Telehealth, also known as teletherapy or virtual counseling, allows patients to receive mental health services remotely through secure video conferencing technology. Telehealth offers a convenient and confidential option for many individuals while maintaining the same quality of care as in-person sessions when clinically appropriate.
Mental health needs change throughout every stage of life. Major life transitions, relationships, school, work, family responsibilities, aging, and unexpected challenges can all affect emotional well-being. Maintaining healthy habits, such as eating a balanced diet, staying physically active, getting adequate sleep, managing stress, and building healthy relationships, can help support positive mental health and overall wellness.
When mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or other emotional and behavioral challenges begin to interfere with daily life, obtaining an accurate diagnosis and receiving age-appropriate, individualized treatment are essential. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services tailored to each person’s unique needs, helping individuals develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and improve their quality of life.
I offer mental health services for:
Mental health challenges exist on a broad spectrum, ranging from the everyday stressors and life transitions we all experience to more serious emotional distress, mental health crises, and long-term mental health conditions. A mental health crisis occurs when life’s challenges become overwhelming and a person’s usual coping strategies are no longer effective. During these times, individuals may feel helpless, distressed, anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, or as though they are losing control of their lives.
I am trained to help individuals navigate these difficult situations by providing compassionate, evidence-based support in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Together, we can identify the underlying concerns, develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and create practical strategies to manage current challenges and promote long-term emotional well-being.
Some of the client concerns, mental health challenges, and conditions I commonly treat include:
Psychotherapy, also referred to as talk therapy, psycho-social therapy, counseling, or, simply, therapy, is the primary method for treating mental health problems by talking with a mental health provider. The goal is to help an individual better understand their mental health and teach strategies and tools that manage unhealthy thoughts and behaviors.
While there are many approaches to psychotherapy, there is no single approach that works for everyone. A therapist may use a blended approach, sampling techniques from several diverse types of psychotherapy. The kind of psychotherapy a person receives depends on their unique needs.
The following are some of the evidence-based psychotherapy approaches I use to help individuals address mental health concerns, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their treatment goals. Your treatment plan will be tailored to your unique needs and may incorporate one or more of these therapeutic approaches.
