Our clinical team recognizes that military personnel and veterans may face a variety readjustment issues after serving in active combat situations. These issues can include PTSD, depression, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse, grief, anger and survivor’s guilt. Our team offers support and encouragement for recovery.

Defending our country is a great honor, and Morgan Health Centers is proud to offer support for military members and their families. We are deeply dedicated to providing specialized behavioral health treatment for the brave men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces. At our facility located in Meridian, Idaho, we provide therapeutic services that treat military mental health and addiction issues to those active duty service members and veterans who are struggling with substance abuse and/or psychiatric disorders as a result of traumatic, such as PTSD, or stressful situations throughout deployment and reintegration. It is our goal to help our current and former military patients deal with the multitude of issues that they face, so that they may move into the next phase of their lives with healthy coping skills and resources for healing.

Our providers are trained to target and treat a number of particular challenges including trauma, mental illness, addiction to drugs and alcohol or a dual diagnosis of addiction and psychiatric illness. Some of the mental health issues we treat for military personnel and veterans include:

  • Bipolar disorder
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Grief/Anger/Survivor’s Guilt
  • Alcohol and/or Substance Abuse
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
